Tried out some calligraphy today! 
I just wanted to try something new!
I really needed to use different paper as this one does not hold the ink very well. I also, really need to learn how to only get the right amount of ink, not too much but not too little. So because of that in some places there was an inconstancy in the amount of ink.
I'm definitely learning! Do you guys have any tips?

Rehearse the stroke a few times before making the lines.
The amount of ink in the pen should be up to the little hole, but not in the hole.
You did a very good job on this!
Doing calligraphy gives a whole new appreciation for the old letters and documents, such exactitude and patience old writers must have had!
